Assistant - Private Equity

We are recruiting for an Assistant role for a growing boutique Private Equity firm. Based in Central London, you will be supporting one Partner and their team - they are a fun team but they work hard and really need someone who cares about the role and will do an excellent job. It is fast paced and they need someone who  has a true sense of urgency.  In return, you will have a genuinely lovely place to work with a fantastic work life balance and hours of 8.30am-5pm.

Duties to include:

  • Diary management and detailed travel management across time zones
  • Expenses management 
  • Screening calls and meeting requests/Acting as a gatekeeper
  • Manage filling and archives, updating contact database
  • Day-to-day office management duties 
  • Liaising with Portfolio companies

The ideal candidate will have a calm nature, good organisation skills and a proactive attitude. Somebody who is willing to get involved and take on additional responsibilities. 

Key Skills and Experience required:

  • Great skills using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently
  • Able to work to deadlines and managing last minute changes
  • Extremely organised, have the ability to multi task and be able to prioritise your work
  • Experience of working in a corporate environment - ideally Private Equity or Investment Banking

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum+ (depending upon experience and salary history) plus discretionary bonus and excellent benefits
